This initiative will make Swiss Airlines the world’s first airline to consume the fuel which is known as ‘sun to liquid’ fuel. This technology involves sunlight to produce carbon-neutral kerosene. This fuel is economically beneficial and ecologically viable which is a great substitute for dying fossil fuels.The airline has a keen interest in consuming and moving ahead with solar fuel which will be made available in 2023.

The government of Switzerland has announced plans to scrap all COVID-19 related precautionary  measures from 2nd May 2022. Major airports in Zurich, Geneva and Ben are preparing to handle an extremely busy summer schedule for the inbound and outbound flights.
