Shaheen Air was a Pakistani airline owned by a private company with its head office at Jinnah International Airport and hub in Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore. They remained Pakistan’s second-largest airline in terms of fleets, first being International Airlines (PIA) until they closed down its operations in October 2018. Shaheen airline was providing commercial and cargo services in Pakistan and the Middle East. Shaheen Air suspended all its operations in October 2018.

In May 2004, Shaheen airline fleet was grounded by CAA as the airline owed millions of debt. But only after 3 days the airline received a letter of clearance from CAA and Shaheen Airline resumed their flights’ operations. The same year the airline changed its name from Shaheen Air International (SAI) to Shaheen Air and the airline changed its overall corporate outlook and web presence.

With a fleet of 21 aeroplanes, Shaheen Air fled to a total of 22 destinations which include domestic routes of Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, D.G. Khan and International routes of Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Dubai, Manchester, Al Ain, Muscat, Kuwait and Doha.
