Finance Lead

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Finance Lead to join our team. The incumbent will be responsible for managing payments, vendors, out-of-office visits, and overseeing refunds. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations related to payments, vendor management, and out-of-office vendor management or visits.
• Oversee the refund process to ensure timely and accurate disbursements.
• Interface between finance and other departments to ensure seamless financial processes.
• Perform general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Verify, calculate, and post financial data accurately and promptly.
• Assist in supporting the month-end closing process by preparing necessary documentation and reconciliations.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Proven experience in managing financial operations, including payments, vendor interactions, and refunds.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and errors in financial data.
• Demonstrate appropriate handling of sensitive financial information.
• Ability to work efficiently within deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
• High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple parties.
• Intermediate computer software skills, including proficiency in Excel and accounting packages.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance (4 years) or ACCA.
• 4+ years of experience in finance or accounting.
