PIA Expands Skardu Flights from Karachi, Lahore & Islamabad

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced an expansion of its flight operations to Skardu, adding more frequencies from major cities to boost connectivity and support tourism in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Updated Route-Wise Schedule (Subject to Final Confirmation)

• Karachi – Skardu: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday
• Lahore – Skardu: Thursday, Saturday, Sunday
• Islamabad – Skardu: 8 flights weekly, including double flights on Saturday

The expansion is aimed at meeting higher passenger demand during the peak travel season and promoting tourism to Pakistan’s scenic northern regions. Skardu remains one of the country’s most popular destinations, known for its breathtaking mountains, lakes, and adventure tourism.
