PIA to Resume Direct UK Flights and Expand Middle East Network
← BackPakistan International Airlines (PIA) has been officially cleared to resume direct flights to the United Kingdom, marking a major milestone after years of restrictions. The first route to restart will be Islamabad → Manchester, beginning 25 October 2025. This move is part of PIA’s broader strategy to rebuild its international network and regain passenger confidence on key routes.
In addition to its UK comeback, PIA is expanding its presence in the Middle East, launching new flights on several routes including Sialkot–Bahrain, Lahore–Dammam, Faisalabad–Jeddah, and Sialkot–Doha. These additions aim to strengthen connectivity for Pakistani travelers and tap into growing demand for regional air travel.
