Corona travel update UAE

When Will the Ban on UAE Flights from Pakistan Lift?

According to a notification issued by the UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) passengers from following countries are banned from entering UAE till July 21 2021. These countries include Pakistan, India, Liberia, Namibia, Sierra Leone, Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Zambia, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Nigeria and South Africa. However, cargo, business and charter flights would be exempted from the suspension.

The Foreign Ministry of Pakistan is in contact with UAE as the number of coronavirus cases in the country have considerably decreased in the recent past thus opening flights from Pakistan to UAE states is the only logical step. The ministry is hopeful that the UAE will update its travel advisory about Pakistan soon. It is interesting that from 4th July Saudi Arabia has restricted travel to and from UAE due to covid-19 concerns.

Sastaticket.pk will keep its users updated as the situation further develops.
