When will Flights from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia Open?
As per recent updates, the opening date of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia flights is still undecided as Saudi Arabia has not lifted its ban of flights from Pakistan.According to news, travelers from UAE, Germany, the United States, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Switzerland, France and Japan, will be allowed entry into the kingdom.
PIA flights to Saudia are also not available at the moment as Saudi Arabia has temporarily suspended entry for all travelers coming or passed from Pakistan and other countries including, Argentina, Indonesia, Brazil, Turkey, South Africa, Lebanon, Egypt and India. The same also applies to those who are coming from other countries if they have passed through any of these countries during (14) days preceding their entry to the Kingdom. When flights will open from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia in 2021 depends on the developing covid situation.
Exceptions to the travel ban include Saudi Citizens and their families and accompanying workers , Diplomats, Health Practitioners and their families upon providing a negative result of (PCR) test certificate for non-Saudi nationals over eight years old.
For travelers coming from restricted countries like Pakistan following procedures need to be followed:
Non-Immune Saudi citizens :
a) (PCR) is not required before traveling
b) Must comply with home quarantine for 7 days and test on the 6th day
Immune Saudi citizens:
No procedure is applied
Immune Non-citizens:
a) Must provide (PCR) tests that do not exceed 72 hours before boarding.
b) No quarantine is required nor (PCR) after arrival.
Non-Immune Diplomats and their families:
a) Must provide (PCR) tests that do not exceed 72 hours before boarding.
b) Must comply with home quarantine for 7 days and test on the 6th day.
Non-Immune Health practitioners and their families and companions who under (18):
a) Must provide a test that does not exceed 72 hours before boarding.
b) Those working in government sectors must comply with home quarantine for 7 days with 2 (PCR) tests, one within 24 hours and another on the 7th day.
c) Those who are working in Private sectors must comply with Institutional quarantine for 7 days with (PCR) tests, one within 24 hours and another on the 7th day.
Regardless of the situation, All travelers to Saudi Arabia travelling from Saudi Arabia Airlines or any other must download and register on Tatamman and Tawakkalna applications.
