Virgin Atlantic opened its doors to a new destination from Edinburgh, Scotland. The first long haul flight was launched from the Scottish capital to Barbados, it’s the third route to the Caribbean region. On 5th December, 2021, the first flight was scheduled to fly from Edinburgh Airport (EDI) to Bridgetown, Barbados (BGI). The flight was announced in August and this new route will open doors to new possibilities and will enhance the cargo capacity out of Scotland. VS223 left Scotland at 11:17 local time and landed at 16:00 local time.
